It was ok for the first 3 nights. Then it got muggy. I realised it wasn’t going properly. I recommend you get the hose put on the top drainage as it dries then, one night I got a whole bucket of water so it did help with humidity however it only got down to 23 after 5 hours when I set it to 16.

It’s a great product and it really does cool you down. I want to optimise the exhaust pipe to my window though because UK windows aren’t adapted generally as a slide window.

I got this homcom 5000 btu when the temperature was high in London. Honestly, it does what it says for the price. If you need one for a large room or leaving area then I will suggest you get 14, 000 btu as this one is ok for a room. I managed to assembled easily , there is also a video on youtube which helps to know how to asseble the components. I highly recommend. Even the fan too is powerful and the sound too not noisy as I thought it might be.

This portable air conditioner is ideal for summer and the cooling system is ideal for a livingroom temperature. A beautiful design. The temperature control is excellent using a remote or the display panel on the air conditioner itself. It was useful for me and my family last summer

The AC is relatively quiet, no louder than a fan. It appears to be sturdy and well built. It cools small rooms very quickly and efficiently. The hose isnt particularly long but still works well in small spaces. During the hot weather it has kept the room cool and comfortable both during the day and at night. Very small and light so easy to move between rooms if you need to.

On a hot night this unit is so valuable to help you sleep. just put it on timer for 30 mins.A bit fiddly to set up with e out tube etc, but overall v pleased.

The unit is pretty heavy at 18kgs but I think that’s normal for AC units. It’s noisy to the extent it makes TV viewing awkward, I don’t think I could sleep with it on in the room. The hose is only just long enough to be useful, another metre would make all the difference. Had to make my own adaptor for a fairly standard top hinged small window. So when it’s really hot like two days last week it was pleasant to sit in a room and cool off and for the price it was reasonable but it’s going to spend

Efficient , a bit noisy and because most people have opening windows not sliding ones the pipe is not quite lone enough . A work around is to go to Toolstation , buy the 150mm x 3m ducting pipe at £9.99 and some very strong sticky tape and fix together . Works a treat . Overall good value and chills the room well

The AC unit is very good. I think we need 2 of these machines for our room due to the size of our room.

It works well, we had it for 3 weeks now, working well. We bought 3. You have to get a special pack to isolate the exist tube. What comes with it dies not sit right. Hard to cool the room in the first hour and you have to keep going. Noise, yes, but no choice. Never tried others so can’t compare with others. Drainage some what complex. Not worked that out yet

works great at keeping the room cool in this hot weather, a bit noisy on the high setting but bearable. Better then being roasted, Also the exhaust fittings were perfect and the price is right.
