nick archer 12/07/2025I bought this as a second unit to cover the remaining 3 rooms in my flat. I am so happy that I did! Drawing comparisons with my approximately 5-6 years old unit would be unfair to the older one. Everything I would have changed on the 1st has been done with this new one. The exhaust hose (the 1.5 metre flexi which vents the hot air outside) connection system is superb, allowing easy removal of the exhaust hose for storage while still preventing heat loss while in use. After reading a couple of the negative reviews, one of which claimed that the unit was leaking heat, I can only think that this is referring to the heat from the exhaust hose. Easily resolved with insulation (available designed for this purpose) as far as the low star rating for noise, moving air create's sound, to avoid this look into installing a fixed air conditioning system and put aside £2000 for a basic one summary: this is a fantastic unit which does what it is supposed to for a very reasonable price
Josh Reynolds 10/07/2025Good unit, it is quite loud (sounds like a fridge) but I’m a deep sleeper so not fussed. It cools very well and looks quite neat. The unit is heavy but it has wheels to move about and the duct is a good length too. Worth the purchase in the hot months!
