Overall, I am very pleased with this chair. It arrived in a large box, adequately packaged. The flat seat is supplied attached to the runners to allow it to swivel which is helpful. The back of the chair needs to be attached with two long bolts and two short bolt. The latter are held in place with two clips that just slide onto the notch at the end of the bolt. Two threaded knobs need to be screwed into the frame to allow locking the chair into your preferred seating angle. So far, 10 minutes work and cruising. Unfortunately the two armrests then took me a further 30 minutes to fit. There are just two bolts to attach each arm, but due to the restricted space available and my quite big hands, I struggled to persuade the threads to accept the bolts. In the end I used a long-reach hex driver tool to successfully locate and tighten the four bolts. The assembled chair looks great and although the seat is perhaps around 4 inches lower than my large armchair, I am happy with it's compactness, taking up much less floor space than my armchair. It allows me to adjust the reclining position by loosening the two knobs on the sides of the chair and pushing back. The footrest is very simple to operate, just pulling the lever on the RHS of the chair. To return the footrest, I just pull my heals towards the chair seat and it clicks back into place. I consider it quite comfortable to sit on and I like the swivel. There is a runner noise (like the old curtain rails) when I swivel but it is functional. I feel safe and well supported in the chair. I consider it good value for money and I intend to buy 2 or 3 more for my lounge.

anonymous 15/10/2024Easy to assemble. It is easy to clean and takes up a lot less room than most chairs with built-in foot rest but can also, with little effort, recline too.

anonymous 13/08/2024Very quick delivery, and I was able to construct them on my own even though I am in my eighties , but a second pair of hands would have been helpful. They are very comfortable and the footrest is very easy to put up and down. I find the armrests in the ideal position, and the material is easy wipe clean.
anonymous 19/04/2024The colour is a Taupe rather than a grey so please be aware if you want a light/mid grey chair don’t order. Also although it states 30day return this is at your expense and quite difficult to sort.
