Bill Turner 28/04/2025I’m so impressed with these for the price. Time will tell how long they last, but for anyone considering a purchase, I’ve just fitted 30 meters of these stuff over the last few days so can give some good honest feedback.First off, this comes rolled rather than solid sections. It’s a well designed plastic mesh with double dark green ivy-type leaves. The sections snap together and the 1x3m rolls I purchased are actually made up of several smaller sections plastic welded together.The only negative is how they roll them - the roll is folded in half and then rolled, making the bit right in the middle bent in two directions. It’s totally fixable, but means you have to spend a good 10 minutes flattening out the roll before fitting.I fitted a roll to each side of the wall - the pictures I’ve uploaded show the density with just one and then doubled up with two once the other side was fitted. Were the wood sections on the wall not so filthy from a previous hedge, I would have totally just left it with one layer fitted on the garden side. However it looked so bad the other side with the wood exposed that I had to do that side as well. Having the double density definitely made a difference, but as I say, it would have been fine with just one.I used cable ties to secure it to the wood, it doesn’t come with them but black ones are easy to hide in the leaves and you can’t see any of the ones I used… so don’t stress about getting green ones. In fact they would probably be more visible. I probably used around 200 in total looking at what I have left.
