Really good parasol - but you absolutely must have an additional weighted base. That said, at low price, filled with sand and water, the recommended base to your purchase is more than adequate. Very easy to put together and even easier to open up every time it is needed, into any of the described positions. It doesn’t claim to be waterproof but light showers are not a problem at all and we’ve also had it up twice now in quite significant breezes; the parasol itself moves as you’d expect but the base, and therefore the unit as a whole, was completely stable even in strong gusts. I wouldn’t hesitate to use it in wind but the parasol is so flexible that it moves from the vertical to horizontal, fully opened, so common sense is required!!

anonymous 01/07/2025I bought this on sale which is definitely worth the money. It wasn't hard to put and it took us around 30-45 minute, which is less time for what the Instructions estimate time says. It looks good and doesn't really take up to much garden space .
