The parasol umbrella is of good quality and a lovely colour. Fairly easy to assemble and use. Only had it for a week so time will tell on durability. Good delivery by DPD.

very light, easy to assemble but it requires the additional base to buy separately because once opened it falls but I attached it to my balcony so it holds well.

Instruction sheet could be made clearer but managed to erect the stand by trial and error. However, on taking the parasol out of the box we found that two pieces of plastic were lying in the wrapper. It is the only place on the parasol that is not protected by polystyrene or cardboard, yet it is a vulnerable place where the cord lies. In another review a customer had the same problem. However, after a few emails to customer service, a new one was despatched to us within a few days. Thankfully, the second one was fine. The opening and closing mechanism works smoothly, allowing you to quickly adjust to the desire angle. There is also a foot pedal rotation system that allows you to rotate the umbrella 360 degrees. I just wish a cover was provided with the umbrella instead of having to buy one separately online. The delivery driver was on time within a 2 hr slot and very kindly put the long, heavy parcel on the floor of my hallway for me. Aosom customer service was excellent in replacing the broken umbrella in a timely manner and I would like to thank Mariam for her help in this matter.

We are very pleased overall with the parasol and base but tracking our order - placed at the same time - was complicated as the base was delivered on time and with hourly tracking but the parasol was delivered by a different company who only gave a 24 hour delivery window. Why???
