It was delivered really quick, within 2 days. Good quality base. I filled it with sand which was a lot easier than I expected. The base is heavy once filled and it kept the umbrella steady even in a strong breeze.

Belle Raleign 29/05/2025I liked the fact that it was big enough to cover each leg of the umbrella entirely. Option to fill with water or sand. We decided on sand so we wouldnt have to worry about possible damage due to freezing. With a little shaking at the end to settle, each section will hold a 50 lb bag of play sand. We used a funnel to fill them, and that seemed like forever, but really about 4 minutes per section. Im not sure what color I thought we were getting, but its a mahogany tone- not brown, but not q

anonymous 07/05/2024Item as described. Well packaged and top quality. I only have water in them at the moment just so I could get it setup. But I will be looking to add sand to them. Just will need to see the easiest way of getting sand into them as the hole isn't too big. But they are big old pieces and do the job very well. Recommend it with the 3m parasol that was purchased.
anonymous 05/05/2024With a 3 meter cantilevered umbrella, a solid heavy base is a must. These 4 pieces will require filling before use, and this can be done with play sand or water. each of the bases filled will weigh around 18-20kg. The filling hole is small, so a funnel is required and will certainly make filling easier. When filled, each base can be slotted around your umbrella base and secured by linking together using the clips provided. The downside is that the base takes up a lot of room, so careful thought about end location is required. That said, it certainly secures the cantilever umbrella, so you will not have to worry about it falling over.
