Easy if you put your mind to it. Small screws for the bottom and large on top to hold chair and cover in place. Made a couple of mistakes but learnt by them looks great. Instructions are best read several times before attempting to get familiar with all the parts. Table was very easy to put together. I was on my own so one person can do this. Perseverance and patience is key
