Excellent greenhouse just what o was looking for little tricky to put up in some parts. Good value for money for money. Quick delivery. Only downside delivery guys would not carry it down my drive to back garden left it front door asked to help me lift just ignored me and walked off .

Just built it today, a little tricky but instructions are good, took me around 5 hours to build but it looks really good and fitted together really well. I paid under £200 so in my view it is fantastic value for money. Looks really good and I would recommend.

Goood

It was a good starter greenhouse and did me well for four years. However, the polycarbonate panels discoloured over time, were difficult to clean and ended up getting holes all over from hailstones. Clearly very brittle in the cold. Also, if you think you can just replace them, think again. The way the pa els slide in means that for some panels you almost have to disassemble the greenhouse to put new ones in again. For this reason, my new greenhouse is one with glass as these panels are fitted and clipped in from the outside. I’m not doing the product down so much as to say that my experience has taught me that an extra hundred pounds could have got me a Halls glass version, and would still be operational now. I lost several polycarbonate sheets in the storms as they just blew through. As soon as you lose one, the rest follow quickly. My advice would be to save your pennies and get one with glass - it will last you much longer.

Must say I love this greenhouse. I too am in my late 70s and only 5ft2 tall but manage to put it all together on my own It’s very sturdy and perfect for my orange ,lemon and avocado and mango trees and still have space for my tomatoes and strawberries and peppers to grow I have a rug and chair and enjoy my morning coffee in there The only thing I am a bit concerned about is drooling holes in the frame to place the plugs in I am sealing the windows with tape. At the moment I am very happy with it My garden is quite sheltered so hopefully it will stand up to bad weather !

Delivery is in two parts. It took just over a week because the courier sent 1 part all the way to Aberdeen (obviously a mistake) and I’m near Glasgow, so not great on the delivery, but these things happen. As for the product. I’m a competent DIY’er so I was able to build it myself in about 6 hours (avoid windy days). I can understand why some people struggled in the reviews. Make sure you’re following the instructions and double check them before you do anything. They’re not the most clear instructions and some number references were incorrect. Lay out your parts, understand the difference (some are similar to each other!). You will need pliers, clear silicone (it’s recommended and strengthens) and I also used a battery drill with a 10mm hex socket bit (otherwise it’ll take you forever! There are about 150 bolts). I set the torque to 10-12nm. There are 4 corner posts about 20-30cm long, which go on each corner then spiked into the ground - I put mine on decking so I thought I’d just leave these off…you can’t! So if you’re not putting into soil, then that will be a minor problem. I put them on upside down then cut them down with a multitool, they’re just alloy so easy enough to do. They should have thought of this though. Panels are a bit flimsy so I placed house in an area sheltered by bushes but will still get enough sun. You get self tapping screws with it, so these do give extra strength to some extent. I paid £215, so I’m happy with it overall for my first greenhouse. I wouldn’t say it’s worth £489 though, which is apparently the full price, but with stronger panels and more bracing for windy zones, only then it could justify the higher price. It does seem quite sturdy enough when fully built, but I am already thinking of ways to strengthen it as I’m in Scotland and fully expect heavy wind at some point, so something to consider later.

Took some time to build but they all do really nice colour very happy with it

Ron German 30/12/2024

Now that it's finished I am pleased with the result. It was well worth the price as everything moved fairly smoothly once I had the right tools for the job. Good luck with yours.

Great quality not to difficult to assemble looks brill

Needed a small greenhouse, this fits the bill. I'm a capable DIYer and had no problems with the build. To fully waterproof it needs sealing which is no problem with the right equipment.

Clear instructions assembly time ok

Ordered my greenhouse and two days later it’s arrived at my address in two boxes as stated when I ordered it 10 out of 10 for delivery. Checked all the contents of both boxes everything was in order and even plenty of spare screws and nuts and bolts The instructions I found to be very realistic and practical even though they are mainly pictures think outside the box and you’ll get there very easily. The only downside is my sausage fingers do not fit the small bolts hence me and the wife were divorced six times in our five hours of erecting the greenhouse.

Very easy to order and delivered promptly. Would happily use Aosom again
