Even though it is very heavy, it is compact enough to move it around the deck. I live in a windy area and it holds the umbrella well. Mr Reg Spall 16/06/2024I bought these for 2 umbrellas on my deck. I purchased for the space saving in a tight area. They tip over a lot in wind. Would not buy again. I have the full round and of course works fine. The extra weight and side is needed if you have the space.
